About Brendan Shea
Hi, I’m Brendan Shea! For the past 9 years, I’ve worked with a variety of dogs—ranging from pets to sport and law enforcement canines. My mission is simple: to provide reliable training that creates happy, well-behaved, and confident dogs.
While many trainers focus solely on pet dogs, my experience goes beyond the basics. I’ve trained competitive retrievers and Mondioring—one of the most demanding protection sports, with 17 different exercises covering precision obedience, jumps, and bite work. I’ve also helped dogs achieve certifications in detection, tracking, trailing, and apprehension. I actively compete with my own dogs, and I love guiding clients through everything from basic obedience to complex behavioral challenges.
I use a balanced, reward-based approach, incorporating marker training to help your dog learn effectively and excel. Every training session is tailored to your dog’s specific needs—no cookie-cutter programs here.
The majority of training takes place at my home on 11 acres. Once dogs have mastered the basics, we expand their learning in public settings like parks or coffee shops, or we give them more room to practice on the additional 220 acres I have access to. I provide a comfortable, home-like environment where your dog can truly thrive.
